Choices – 6 minutes

A 6 minute mind bender by Flo Vinger. Two simultaneous and unique story lines that play in split screen. Here's the clincher... the same exact dialogue!

What the F*ck Doug E. Doug – 16 minutes

Synopsis
What The F*CK Doug E. Doug? is a semi-fictional account of one extraordinary day in the life of Doug E. Doug, told through a unique, multi-image, non-stop collage of shots. Offering a mix of ever-changing perspectives and details stitched together to fill the screen, the visual tapestry is a key part of the narrative, evoking and enhancing the absurdness of Doug's day as it moves to its final heart stopping moment.

Take Out – 5 minutes

Synopsis
Two men mysteriously drink wine and eat Chinese food by candlelight discussing a possible career change. That is until they are soon interrupted by a husband and wife coming home from their own dinner.

Crotchless – 18 minutes
Dir. Billy Bessas
Synopsis
Jay stretches the truth a little more than a g-string after he tells long term girlfriend Rene that the panties she found in their apartment are due to his claimed love affair with women's underwear. Ha!

Ten Minute Decade – 9 minutes
Dir. Sarah Gurfield
Synopsis
A woman stumbles through her twenties discovering what she really wants isn't what everyone else has.

Clara's Carma – 7 minutes
Dir. Robert Brinkmann
Synopsis
Clara (Alex Dawson), a young woman who sees omens in everything, suffers a spiritual meltdown and as she consults her therapist (Stephen Tobolowsky), the good doctor's frustration mounts leaving her to wonder: is she beyond therapy?

"Photo Finish" is a short comedy about a frumpy middle-aged woman who is caught on camera having an illicit affair with a young boy toy. When the photo ends up on public display at a nearby art gallery, she and her friend go to great lengths to steal the photo and negatives to prevent her husband from finding out. But alas, the incriminating photo lands on the front page of the morning newspaper in her husband's hands, setting the stage for one lively breakfast conversation.

I Like Your Face – 17 minutes

Synopsis

All's Fair In Love and Work – 22 minutes
Dir. Ethan Meyer
Synopsis
In 'All's Fair in Love & Work,' John has been defeated by his endless, fruitless job search. When pitched that his perfect marriage might be the problem, that it's all or nothing, John can't believe that. But his beliefs won't get him a job, so John gives it a shot, and one fight later, his phone rings with an offer. Finally given a chance at gainful employment, John takes his shot, the costs be damned - but will his wife Emily go along on the ride?

No Offense – 17 minutes

Synopsis
Ryan is skeptical of Brandon's career choice as an actor, but a day together in Ryan's office shows some surprising and striking parallels between the corporate world and the entertainment world. Until you know exactly what someone's day to day routine is like in their career and what their definition of success is, it is ill-advised to pass judgment.

There are 150,000 out-of-work actors in Los Angeles. Jeremy is one of them. He makes his rent as the children's birthday party performer Monty the Moose. Find out what happens on the day he decides to give up acting altogether. "I Am Not A Moose" is a short film written and directed by Jess Brickman.

Writer's Block 2D – 26 minutes

Synopsis
A desperate writer, with a failing imagination, tries to create an original story, but every time he sits down at his computer, he produces a never-ending string of tired clichés. He's stuck, he's in a rut. Though he writes on a grand scale, he cannot envision the world outside of his apartment or beyond the three people closest to him; his girlfriend, his agent and the executive he must impress.

Baby Bomber – 15 minutes
Dir. James Madio
Synopsis
This hilarious story comes to us at a time where baseball is in a weird place, where the speculation of steroids is everywhere. This film mocks the players who use it and the media who exploits it. While focusing on those parents who take sports a little too seriously and push their children to no end.

Bang – 7 minutes
Dir. Holle Singer
Synopsis
A Real Man encounters the dangers of the hunt and his own fantasies when he sees a Beautiful Woman at the theater. Sometimes the greatest dramas are within our own minds.

Whiplash! – 16 minutes
Dir. Juliet Clare Warren
Synopsis
A night in the life of Abbey, an early 20s New Yorker, trying to figure out her place in the world.

Think the life of a big firm lawyer is glamorous? This comedy follows one young lawyer as she is slowly driven crazy by monotonous work, obnoxious colleagues, and the constant buzzing of her BlackBerry. Watch first, live life in decimal increments after.

Beatrice and Bob – 22 minutes
Dir. Kendra Elliott
Synopsis
Beatrice, a reclusive nurse, has just laid her father to rest after years of private hospice care. On her first day back at work, a stalker named Bob makes all her paranoid nightmares ... and secret fantasies, come true.

A Simple Plan – 18 minutes
Dir. Victor Pelka
Synopsis
A young amateur boxer on a losing streak attempts to turns his luck around, but gets more than he bargained for.

Advance Online Tickets will be available for purchase from October 1 through October 23.

After October 23 the ONLY way to purchase tickets will be in person at Tribeca Cinemas beginning one hour prior to the start of each program on a first come first serve basis (cash only at the door).

The cost of tickets is $20 per program.

IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ATTENDEES PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE ONLINE AS PROGRAMS ARE EXPECTED TO SELL OUT.

All screenings will take place at Tribeca Cinemas, 54 Varick Street (corner of Canal Street).
