The 8th Annual Big Apple Film Festival presents the Big Apple Blogger Series. Local bloggers from the New York City independent film community will lead and moderate discussions with participating filmmakers.

Erik Walkuski (JoBlo.com/Arrow in the Head.com) will host a discussion and Q and A with directors Tom Mattera, David Mazzoni and cast members of the BAFF opening feature film "The Fields" starring Cloris Leachman and Tara Reid. The event will take place Tuesday, November 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Tribeca Cinemas.

Erik Davis (Movies.com) will lead a Q and A with musician Kevin Gant following the screening of the documentary "Kevin" directed by Jay Duplass (The Puffy Chair, Baghead, Jeff who Lives at Home). The presentation will take place on Thursday, November 4th, 7:45 p.m. at Tribeca Cinemas.

Jordan Hoffman (UGO.com) will lead a discussion and Q and A with director Mitchell Kase following the screening of Kase's feature film "True to the Heart". The event will take place on Sunday, November 6, 4:15 p.m. at Tribeca Cinemas.

Jordan Hoffman was the movies editor for Hearst Interactive's UGO.com for over four years. He is the co-writer/producer of the underground cult film ULTRACHRIST! and co-director/producer of festival success BODY/ANTIBODY. In 2005 he was named IFC's Ultimate Film Fanatic, and is a working critic based in New York City.

Erik Davis has been one of the web's leading movie commentators since 2005, having worked as an editor and writer for outlets like AOL Moviefone, Cinematical, Fandango, Movies.com, Flavorwire, SXSW Magazine, Entertainment Today and more. He's been chosen as a panelist twice for the popular Comic-Con panel 'Masters of the Web', and you can always find him sitting on juries and hosting Q&As at some of the world's leading film festivals. You can follow Erik on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter, @erikdavis.
