2010 BAFF PRESENTS SPECIAL 20th YEAR ANNIVERSARY SCREENING OF MARTIN SCORSESE'S TIMELESS MASTERPIECE "GOODFELLAS", FEATURING SPECIAL GUESTS

This year the 2010 Big Apple Film Festival is proud to present a special 20th year anniversary screening of Martin Scorsese’s timeless masterpiece “Goodfellas”.

The film will screen as part of the BAFF’s first retrospective section. The screening will be hosted by actor/comedian Tony Darrow and will feature a series of other special guests.

SYNOPSIS:

Henry Hill is a small time gangster, who takes part in a robbery with Jimmy Conway and Tommy De Vito, two other gangsters who have set their sights a bit higher. His two partners kill off everyone else involved in the robbery, and slowly start to climb up through the hierarchy of the Mob. Henry, however, is badly affected by his partner's success, but will he stoop low enough to bring about the downfall of Jimmy and Tommy?

STARRING: Ray Liotta, Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, Lorraine Bracco, Paul Sorvino, Frank Vincent, Mike Starr, Tony Darrow

The film will screen as part of the closing night of the 7th Annual Big Apple Film Festival on Saturday, November 6 at 7 p.m. at Tribeca Cinemas.

The event will be followed by a closing night reception in the Tribeca Cinemas Reception Lounge sponsored by Stella Artois.

TICKETS MAY BE PURCHSED ONLINE UNTIL OCTOBER 29. AFTER OCTOBER 29, IF SEATS ARE STILL AVAILABLE, TICKETS WILL ONLY BE SOLD AT TRIBECA CINEMAS 1 HOUR PRIOR TO SHOWTIME ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.
