Big Apple Film Festival alumnus and advisory board member David Paterson's film, "Bridge to Terabithia", which is produced by Walden Media in conjunction with Walt Disney, will be in theaters nationwide on February 16th. Mr. Paterson is a writer and producer on the film, which is based on the legendary children's book originally written by Katherine Paterson and published by HarperTrophy in 1977. 

Mr. Paterson's first feature film, "Love, Ludlow", received its world premiere at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival had its New York City premiere at the 2005 Big Apple Film Festival, where it received the Honorable Mention Award in the Feature Film Category. The film has since been released by Warner Home Video and can be seen on the Starz Network and the Sundance Channel.
