11th Annual Big Apple Film Festival kicks off November 5th at Tribeca Cinemas, NYC!

The Big Apple Film Festival will celebrate its 11th year with 129 films of all length and genres.

Highlighted films include our opening night feature film "Manhattan Romance" directed by and starring Tom O' Brien, along with a stellar cast including Gaby Hoffmann (Wild, HBO's Girls, Veronica Mars, Obvious Child) Caitlin Fitzgerald (Masters of Sex, It's Complicated, The Fitzgerald Family Christmas), and Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Boardwalk Empire).

Additional films include:

  • Bread and Butter directed by Liz Manishul and starring Lauren Lapkus(Jurassic World, Are you Here, Orange is the New Black, Blended), Eric Lange, Harry Groener and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live, Monsters University)
  • Floating Sunflowers starring Anna Chlumsky (HBO's Veep)
  • Simpler Times starring Jerry Stiller (King of Queens)
  • Austin to Boston (produced by Ben Lovett of Mumford and Sons)
  • The Wisdom to know the Difference, directed by and starring Daniel Baldwin, along with Stephen Baldwin and Lou Diamond Phillips

The festival will include Q and A's with filmmakers and actors, as well as networking events, filmmaker receptions and honorary award presentations to actor Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Boardwalk Empire) and actor/comedian Jerry Stiller.
