Mohammad Maaty

Mohammad Maaty – Production/Development HBO - Conceptualized, wrote, edited and produced a variety of brand image, promotional spots, and long-form content pieces for Original Programming, Film, Documentaries and Sports. Produced for campaigns: Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, Treme, How to Make it in America, Phil Spector, HBO Sports and various documentaries.


Scott Kaplan

Scott Kaplan – Scott Kaplan is the SVP of Global Sales and Distribution at FilmBuff, a digitally-focused independent film distributor and sales agency in New York. He oversees all aspects of both domestic and international distribution & sales for FilmBuff’s 150+ releases per year and library of over 1000 titles, while also focusing on corporate strategy and business development. Recent releases he has led include BANKSY DOES NY, SPRING, SOMEONE MARRY BARRY, THE INTERNET’S OWN BOY, Jared Leto’s ARTIFACT, Adam Carolla’s ROAD HARD, BURT’S BUZZ and Vice Media’s ALL THIS MAYHEM. He also sources and negotiates deals for a library of over 1000 films including EXIT THROUGH THE GIFT SHOP, THE WAY, THE PILL, ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW and SENNA. Prior to joining FilmBuff in 2013, Kaplan negotiated multichannel acquisition deals for DISH Network after working as an agent at ICM in Los Angeles. He holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA from The University of Pennsylvania.


Jamie Datz

Jamie Datz - Is currently an assistant editor at Pixar Animation Studios, working on Toy Story 4, directed by John Lasseter. Jamie started his career in reality television working on shows for ABC, Fox, Syfi, Comedy Central and The History Chanel. He later worked on DVD bonus material and promotions for Warner Brothers, Universal Studios, Paramount and Sony before moving up to Northern California to join Pixar. At Pixar he started off in the International and Trailers Department working on Wall•e, Up and Toy Story 3 as well as projects for Disneyland and Disney Cruises. In 2010 he started working on the feature film Inside Out, directed by Pete Docter.


Anna J. Takayama

Anna J. Takayama - After working in Theatrical Sales for almost 3 years, Anna J. Takayama currently works as Post Production and Technical Services Coordinator at Sony Pictures Classics. Her previous experience includes working at indie animation film distribution company, GKIDS.
